IDENTIFICATION CODE (taxpayer identification number) - a personal document that must be issued for foreigners or stateless persons who are in Ukraine or outside Ukraine for the registration of certain legal and tax actions.
Important: Issuance of the tax identification number of the taxpayer is a document confirming the establishment You for tax registration in the tax system of Ukraine. Being registered as a taxpayer does not oblige you to pay any taxes until the economic activity or certain notarial / legal actions are carried out.
Foreigners and stateless persons who are legally in the territory of Ukraine in the general regime with a passport for traveling abroad can receive an identification tax number. An identification number can also be obtained by foreigners and stateless persons who have a temporary/permanent residence permit in Ukraine.

You can issue an identification tax number in person on the territory of Ukraine, as well as with the help of a power of attorney for employees of our company.
Important: If the power of attorney is drawn up by a foreigner / OBG outside of Ukraine, then it must be legalized / apostilled depending on the country of its registration. If a foreigner / OBG is in the territory of Ukraine in the general regime as a tourist with a passport for traveling abroad - the documents are submitted to the Main Departments of the Tax Service.
If a foreigner / foreign citizen has a temporary / permanent residence permit - the documents are submitted directly to the place of registration (registration) to the district offices of the tax service.

RENEW IDENTIFICATION CODE
Foreigners and stateless persons who have lost or damaged their identification tax code (taxpayer number) can renew it directly at the place of its issuance, or at other offices of the tax service, depending on their status stay in Ukraine.
The procedure for renewing an identification number is identical to obtaining it for the first time. When renewing the identification code, the numbers of the code do not change and remain for life from the moment of receiving the code for the first time.
